The New YOrkshireman Collection x Chiedu Oraka
ACRA and Chiedu Oraka present: The New YOrkshireman Collection, a 6 piece collection consisting of a unisex zipped hoodie, unisex tees, women’s tees and an accompanying cap.
This collection is an extension of or deluxe if you will to the original The Black Yorkshireman Collection.
The logo design consists of a blacked out/reversed Yorkshire Rose representing ‘The Black Yorkshireman’ himself but also all the other men and women of the same ilk from around the world.
The writing below the icon reads ‘The New YOrkshireman’ with the ‘O’ capitalised to signify the last name of the artist.
The ‘O’ is also coloured in Blue with the rest of the logo in white paying homage to the blue and white of the City of New York flag which is modelled on the flag of The Netherlands representing New York’s close ties to Europe so much so it originated as New Amsterdam. But also in keeping with the white of the original Yorkshire Rose.
The font was picked to look old English-esque to further tie in to the Yorkshire/historic theme, and finally the positioning of the writing below the icon resemble the stalk and base or pot to a flower/plant or in this case a Rose.
Each snapback matches the colours of the rest of the collection allowing for easy styling.
Each zipped hoodie has the ACRA A Star logo embroidered to the left upper chest, and the blacked out Yorkshire Rose with ‘The New YOrkshireman’ written underneath, embroidered on the left chest, matching the Rose logo printed at the rear. of the unisex tees.
The Tees have the ACRA Crown logo printed at the front matching the original TBY collection. The inner neck print includes the signature ACRA message of thought and encouragement.
The Black Yorkshireman himself has rose to the top of his local scene and much further. We know there’s much more to come from him and we hope that you can also take on the same mindset to help you in whatever it is you’re pursuing too.
From Yorkshire to New York. Together, No Limits.
